Robinsons Mall in Ilocos Norte

This afternoon officials of Robinsons Land and Venvi Corporaion unveiled the plans for a Robinsons Mall in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte.

Groundbreaking is scheduled this coming September.

Robinsons Place-Ilocos Norte will be a two-story mall with a total floor area of 2.7 hectares.

The mall will be completed by December 2009.

Personally, I prefer this project better than the one proposed in Laoag because it does not involve relocating a school and dealing with the Catholic Church.

The area where the mall will be located sits in a sprawling 40 hectare property owned and managed by Venvi Corporation.

No relocation.  No traffic.  No complications.  No problem.

Im very excited to check out the mall when I arrive there on the 17th visiting all the way from hawaii. Last time I was there 8 years ago, there was no where to shop. But I'm glad to see that the city deserves to grow for the future of our next generation and to bring more jobs to the community.

I'm very excited to check out this new mall that everyone been talking about. Last time I was there 8 years ago, it was so hard to shop in Laoag. That beautiful city deserves to grow for the safe of the next generation. But most of all, I'm just glad to see that it brought new jobs to the community. I'm visiting all the way from Maui, Hawaii and arrives on the 18th. Staying with family in Bobon, Burgos. I'll be more on a mission than vacation. I already started my shopping list! Can't wait!
